Why we exist
The charitable sector is vast and fragmented. Different evaluators use different methodologies. Researching individual charities can take hours. The Giving Directory addresses these problems by pre-vetting charities through established evaluation organizations and presenting clear, searchable information in one place.
How we evaluate
We don't evaluate charities ourselves. Instead, we rely on established charity evaluators with the expertise and methodologies to assess nonprofit effectiveness. Our role is to aggregate that information and make it accessible.
